drywall!

Sondra came up to help us drywall the kitchen...it will be a much warmer winter for us!  I don’t know where I’d be without my friends right now.  Mike has been our go-to-guy on numerous occasions, Allysha has put in at least 100 hours on our renos so far, and everyone else has come out of the woodwork to help us in our time of need.  Thank you.

electrical geniuses!

Jodyne and Garry are my heroes.  They have completely replaced all the electrical plugs and switches throughout the house as well as the breaker box and a lot of new wire.  You two are incredible and we will have you out for dinner to thank you when all the work is done!

hey kid

My dad is back.  I called mom at the hospital and she put him on the phone and I knew, just by the way that he said “hey kid” that it was him, that he was back.  I am on top of the world and have no further words.  I am so grateful.  

Otherwise, we have been working on the house and gathering/ bucking/ splitting the firewood for the winter- we need more than ten cords to get us through.
