Tour 2012, Day 1

Dave and I played our first 2012 show together tonight in Moose Jaw and we had an excellent time.
Thank you so much to Brodie and Megan for hosting a truly lovely house concert for Dave and me tonight.  Thank you also to Bill for warming up the stage so well for us.  
Every time I come to Saskatchewan, I am amazed by these wonderful people who open their hearts and homes to us. Saskatchewanians are truly receptive, mellow, kindred spirits.  I spent a great deal of time in Regina (was that already almost ten years ago) and whenever I hear anyone saying, "why would anyone want to live in Saskatchewan?", I always announce loudly, "It's the people. They're awesome."
Thank you to everyone who came out to the show...what an awesome turn out!
