moving. moving?

We are moving.  Rowan and I have found a beautiful little home to rent, next to the Battle River, on 90 acres.  We will be moving in on June 1 and living there until such time as we can move into our permanent dwelling here on the farm.  We’re really excited to paint and decorate and acquire furniture and all those fun things that couples get to do when they have their first place together.  

I’m worried about my parents.  I wonder how they’ll get along on their own now.  I wonder how it will be for them to not have any animals once we move out.  I am not one to embrace change with arms wide open and no consideration of the emotional fallout.  In fact, I tend to focus on the emotional fallout quite naturally.

I’m trying, however, to accentuate the positive, so...after four years of waiting, we will have our own place with our furry family and this is good.  Everyone will be okay.
